Syrian Feast
Enjoy the warmth and hospitality of a home-cooked Syrian lunch, in the home of Rania and her husband Nizar. They fled Syria 7 years ago, due to the civil war, wanting to give their family a better life. They left behind their home, their careers, their friends, and their community. They were both engineers in Aleppo and today, they are rebuilding their lives, from the ground up.
Mia Cucina Food Tour and Maps are delighted to be supporting Rania and Nazir, showcasing their heritage and providing you with the incredible opportunity to experience a traditional Syrian meal. We begin the day at their local shops, showcasing imported Syrian produce and products, before returning to their home to enjoy a traditional Syrian Feast. You will hear their stories from their wonderful life in Aleppo, prior to the civil war, and learn the history of this incredibly rich nation, whilst enjoying a traditional, delicious Syrian lunch.
