We Joined the Revolution!
Sydney celebrated Bastille Day with a huge festival down at Circular Quay and The Rocks over the weekend.
We tucked into fresh raclette, melted camembert served with cranberry jelly and buttery garlic toasts, a glass of mulled wine and some incredible French inspired macrons by Adriano Zumbo.
French businesses were selling their wares, from hand woven baskets, to freshly smoked garlic and traditional fare like duck pate and handmade pastries.
There was live music all afternoon, with many stages scattered around the city, with the sun beaming brightly, everyone enjoyed the combination of the sweet sounds, the delicious food and we all soaked up the rays.
As the sun set, the eager ones headed to the open-air cinema outside the MCA, which was all set up with deck lounges and cuddly oversized blankets for every guest. What a blast we had!
Vive la France!
